Chicken roast is a recipe of restaurant style dry chicken. It is easy, quick to make, due to usage of less oil its kind of healthy and made with basic ingredients, doesn't need much attention.
According to some Dietitians, "Chicken is a great source of protein, B vitamins, vitamin A and D and minerals like phosphorus and iron. "It is good to use cooking methods like boiling, grilling, roasting or baking rather than deep frying as it can lead to various health problems".

CHICKEN ROAST RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
CHICKEN- 1/2 kg[ cut chicken in to bite size]
OIL- 2 tsp
BAY LEAF/ tejpatta-1 medium
GREEN CARDAMOMS/ elachi- 6 pieces
CLOVES/ lavang- 6 pieces
CINNAMON STICK/ dalchini chakka- 2 inch
GINGER GARLIC PASTE- 3 tsp
ONION- 1 large[sliced or chopped]
GREEN CHILIES- 2 medium[sliced]
CURRY LEAVES- 2 springs
TURMERIC- 1/2 tsp
RED CHILI POWDER- 1/2 tsp
GARAM MASALA- 1 tsp
SALT AS NEEDED CORIANDER LEAVES FOR GARNISH
RECIPE TO MAKE
1. Wash chicken thoroughly, keep them in salt water for 30 min.[makes chicken juicy, soft and tender]
2. Heat oil on a heavy bottom pan and spread across the pan.
6. Flip and stir the meat, cover and cook for another 5 min
7. Add turmeric and curry leaves[u can also add mint if u like] cook for 1 min
8. Add red chili powder and garam masala stir well. cover and cook it till meat become's soft and tender on low flame,it might take 10 to 15 min.
SERVE CHICKEN ROAST WITH PLAIN RICE OR STEAMED RICE OR ANY FLAVORED RICE AND U CAN HAVE IT AS A STARTER.
